As CEO and co-founder of Humane Intelligence, I’ve pioneered community-driven approaches to AI auditing and evaluation through innovative “bias bounties” and institutionalized red teaming methodologies. My work addresses one of technology’s most critical challenges, ensuring artificial intelligence systems are fair, transparent, and accountable to the communities they impact. I serve as U.S. Science Envoy for Artificial Intelligence, representing American AI expertise and values on the global stage, and sit on New York City’s AI Steering Committee, shaping policy that affects millions. 

Previously, I led AI ethics teams at Twitter and Accenture, where I developed frameworks and practices that major technology companies now adopt across the industry. My approach emphasizes that AI ethics cannot be separated from the cultural contexts in which systems operate, and effective governance requires diverse perspectives, community participation, and ongoing evaluation. I hold a doctorate and bring rigorous academic research to practical implementation, bridging the gap between theoretical ethics and real-world AI deployment.
