How Do I Get Nominated?

Companies or individuals can be nominated for the awards by themselves or by other industry experts, clients, customers, or any other stakeholders. The nomination process will be open to individuals and businesses from all over the world.

Describe The Screening Process

All nominations undergo an initial screening based on eligibility criteria, including factors such as industry recognition, innovation, leadership, service, sustainability, and social responsibility. This screening is conducted by a panel of industry experts selected for their expertise and impartiality.

Applicants must demonstrate excellence or world-class achievement in areas such as Leadership, Service, Research, Innovation, Teaching, Mentoring or Artistic Accomplishment. Global Recognition Awards uses a grading system from 1 to 5, where 1 is graded as minimal and 5 is graded as exceptional or world-class. These factors, relevant to each category’s industry, form the basis of our Rasch model analysis.

Shortlisting Process

Screened nominations are shortlisted using the Rasch model, a statistical approach that converts ordinal data into interval measures. This method allows for a more objective comparison of applicants across different criteria.

Shortlisted individuals and businesses will be notified and may be asked to provide additional information, including company profiles, achievements, and testimonials. This data will be incorporated into the Rasch model analysis to refine the evaluation.

The Rasch model prioritizes quantitative factors, focusing on measurable data that objectively determines a business’s success. This approach ensures a fair, unbiased, and objective evaluation process.

Evaluation Process

Shortlisted applicants are evaluated using the Rasch model, which creates a linear scale of measurement for each category. This allows for precise comparisons between applicants, even when they excel in different areas.

Is there a fee to apply for the Innovative Companies Award?

No. There is absolutely no application fee. Our goal is to ensure all companies — regardless of size, stage, or sector — have the opportunity to be recognised for their innovative contributions and achievements on the global stage.

What criteria are used to evaluate innovative companies?

Candidates are evaluated across six dimensions: Innovation, Market Impact, Leadership, Sustainability, Growth Trajectory, and Social Responsibility. Our expert panel applies the Rasch psychometric model — grading companies on a 1–5 scale where 5 represents world-class, exceptional achievement. This ensures a fair, bias-free comparison across all applicants regardless of industry.

Can startups or early-stage companies apply?

Absolutely. Startups and early-stage companies are strongly encouraged to apply. We celebrate innovation at every stage of business development — from bold new ventures through to established global enterprises — provided there is demonstrable world-class achievement or extraordinary ability in their field.

What do Innovative Companies Award winners receive?

Winners receive an award badge for use across all brand touchpoints — website, proposals, pitches, and social media. How are Innovative Companies Award winners selected?

Selection follows a five-stage process: (1) Nomination, (2) expert eligibility screening, (3) Rasch model shortlisting — a statistical approach converting ordinal scores into objective interval measures, (4) in-depth evaluation by our panel of industry judges, and (5) winner announcement by email. Only companies demonstrating world-class or exceptional achievement are selected.

How long does the application process take?

The nomination form takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. After submission, our team will acknowledge receipt. Shortlisted companies may be invited to provide supplementary information — such as company profiles, achievement summaries, and supporting testimonials — to assist with the Rasch model evaluation.
