As co-founder of 1517 Fund, I’ve dedicated my career to backing young entrepreneurs and dropouts working on hard problems and scientific innovations that traditional venture capital overlooks. Named after the Protestant Reformation’s pivotal year, our fund challenges the conventional belief that formal education is the only path to entrepreneurial success. 

I previously led operations for the Thiel Fellowship, where I worked directly with extraordinary founders including Vitalik Buterin (Ethereum), Ritesh Agarwal (OYO), and dozens of others who’ve gone on to build billion-dollar companies and breakthrough technologies. My approach to mentorship extends beyond capital, I provide strategic guidance, network access, and unwavering support to young innovators tackling everything from biotechnology to financial systems. 

Before entering venture capital, I founded Innovations Academy, a K-8 charter school in San Diego focused on project-based learning and entrepreneurial thinking. My work demonstrates that age and credentials matter less than vision, determination, and innovative thinking. Through 1517 Fund, I’ve helped democratize access to venture funding and mentorship for non-traditional founders, proving that transformative innovation can come from anywhere when given the right support and resources.
