As one of Australia’s most successful technology entrepreneurs, I’ve founded a record five ASX-listed companies that have fundamentally transformed telecommunications and data infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region. My journey began with co-founding PIPE Networks in 2001, which I sold to TPG for A$373 million in 2010. That same year, I founded NEXTDC, which has grown into Australia’s largest data centre operator and a $3 billion ASX 100 company. In 2013, I founded Megaport with a vision to become the world’s largest network interconnection provider. It’s now a $1 billion ASX 200 company revolutionizing how businesses connect to cloud services and data centres globally. 

I’ve also founded Superloop (ASX-listed), SubPartners submarine cable group, SUBCO (which launched the $300 million Oman Australia Cable spanning 10,000 km), Cloudscene (the world’s largest data centre and service provider database), and Biopixel. My work has dramatically improved Australia’s internet infrastructure diversity and resilience, including consortium membership in the Indigo undersea cable connecting Sydney to Singapore. Through strategic vision, technical innovation, and entrepreneurial execution, I’ve created thousands of jobs and billions in shareholder value while positioning Australia as a critical hub in global digital infrastructure.
